My Story
My introduction to Scentsy was not my idea...but it was a wonderful one! I received a warmer and 3 different scents for Christmas. Being a lover of candles I was thrilled with my gift. Since it was a small plug-in warmer I put it in my ensuite bathroom, thinking that it would need a small area in order to permeate the air. An hour later I walked into the bedroom and was amazed at how much scent was being released by the small warmer. Magic was in the air... The second surprise was how long each little square of wax lasted for. Smaller than a typical tea light candle but lasting 3-4 times as long...loved it. Also, all three scents were a hit. Being chosen by a co-worker who has only visited my home once and had no idea of the type of scents I enjoy or would choose myself....all three she had chosen smelled great and I couldn't believe how long each tiny square lasted. I found myself impatiently waiting for the smell to go out of the wax so that I could try out my next scent! The deciding factor to join was when I looked at my first catalog and saw just how affordable these products are. For a person who has spent literally hundreds of dollars on home fragrance items I could immediately see that I would save a lot of money using Scentsy. Now I was truly in love with Scentsy! The reasons above aside, being a victim of a terrible car accident and being able to work only 3 days a week; becoming a Scentsy consultant could earn some extra money that I needed to be able to supplement my income and give me something else to focus my free time on. I started my Scentsy business in Feb, 2012 and I have been blessed with more than I could have ever dreamed of. Within 9 months I had earned 5 promotions and became Director. By my 1 year anniversary I had earned an all-inclusive trip to Hawaii! In March of 2013, Scentsy income helped finance my dream wedding in Jamaica! That same year I attended Scentsy Family Reunion in Indianapolis, as well as visited the brand new Home Office campus in Boise for Director Boot camp. Since then I have attended 2 Scentsy Family Reunions in St. Louis and Las Vegas with a great friend who I met through Scentsy. Because of Scentsy I have travelled more often than I was able to before, I have a successful business that earns me extra income without taking up huge amounts of time and I have met so many wonderful new people. I know in my heart that this is only the beginning of a wonderful journey. My goal is to not only share these amazing products with people, but to add so much more to their lives by sharing the business opportunity with everyone. It can change your life like it has mine!
